Mads joined Highbridge after having gained extensive experience from two Danish top-tier law firms as well as from his own consulting firm. This experience has equipped Mads with legal and commercial skills of the highest standards, a wide network of connections as well as valuable knowledge as a founder of all the challenges that every company faces. Mads applies this unique combination of capabilities in his passionate work of advising startups, growth companies, investors and other related stakeholders on their road to growth and success.

Mads is a close sparring partner for national and international clients on complex legal and commercial matters within Venture Capital, M&A and Corporate Law. This includes primarily deal making in the sense of equity investments and funding rounds as well as sales and purchases of companies of all sizes. In addition, Mads handles general corporate matters, including inter alia preparation of convertible notes and other instruments related to capital raising, structuring of warrant programs and other incentive schemes as well as drafting and finalization of contracts.

Also, Mads has throughout his career specialised intensively within the niche of Sports Law, resulting in him being one of the leading experts in Denmark within said area of law. Not only has Mads successfully advised numerous of professional football players and other athletes, agents and managers as well as clubs and coaches on legal and commercial issues in the world of sports, but Mads has as well completed a LL.M. in International Sports Law in Practice in the United Kingdom top of his class. Mads is equally comfortable whether clients ask for his assistance on preparation of contracts, negotiation of sponsorship deals, handling of player transfers or other sports related matters.

In his spare time, Mads enjoys playing tennis and jumping on his skis in the French mountains, likewise he loves spending time with his wife and his two kids.

Mads is licensed by the Danish Ministry of Justice and is a member of the Danish Bar and Law Society.
